Amsterdam 2012

An update from Amsterdam!

All I can really say about Amsterdam is.. What?!   What happened?
My memory seems to be a bit "foggy" from the trip, but I found a few hundred pictures that explained it all afterwards ;)

  

An update from Israel :)

The past few weeks have been some of the most amazing, heart pounding kick ass weeks ever.  After being in Jerusalem during a rocket attack, and being sent into a hideout by IDF Soldiers (where they mixed men & women together for safety, I knew shit was hitting the fan and this was the real deal.  (At the Kotel "Whaling Wall", Men & Women always pray separately as tradition.)  The gunfire which was celebration time for the Palestinians could be heard from the West Bank as we listened from our balcony..  Crazy times!

If that wasn't enough.. after arriving in Tel-Aviv about 1 week later, a bus got blown up only a few blocks from the apartment that my brother and I rented out.  Thankfully nobody was killed in the bus bombing (picture below) but there were severe injuries reported.  This was only our first day arriving in Tel-Aviv.  After all of the chaos, a long awaited "cease-fire" was finally announced on TV and it's been quiet ever since.  Some say that the cease-fire is just "Reload Time" but who knows?  Either way, Israel is and will always be one of my favorite places on earth.

Today I'm heading out to Amsterdam ;) with a two hour lay-over in Geneva.  I have never been to Amsterdam before so I'm definitely looking forward to the craziness!  The Networking, connections and meeting new people has been unreal.

As I write this blog update on an EasyJet flight, we are about to land in Geneva..

It's been way too long..

It's been almost 5yrs since my last trip to one of my favorite places in the world..ISRAEL.

I'm so fortunate to be able to say that tonight (after a week in NY on business & visiting family), I will be leaving on a 12hr flight tonight at midnight back to the holy land :)

I have missed all of my closest friends, and family and can't wait to arrive at the most comforting, deep most beautiful countries in the world (that is only the size of the state of NJ) for another amazing trip.

There will be TONS of non-stop action, networking and traveling within the next few weeks that I promise to get a bunch of pictures and video of for you guys! Wish me a safe flight, love you all!

Liquid Tension Experiment Cover "Acid Rain" Posted on YouTube!

I decided to cover this song due to it's off time signatures and amazing musical melodies.  The instrumental comes from one of the best bands I've ever encountered "Liquid Tension Experiment", which was a side project of the Progressive Metal band Dream Theater (for those of you who aren't familiar with them).  Enjoy the vid, much more to come!!

New Music Video w/ Julien, Featuring Addison Parker

Always A pleasure working with these guys.  Hip-Hop Artist/MMA Fighter Julien & Addison Parker (only 15yrs old!!) Tons of Talent here, Special thanks to Shecky & Nathalie.  Get ready to see a lot more from these guys in the near future!  I used my Roland TD-9 Kit for this Video.

Photo Shoot

This photo shoot was pretty interesting being that it was a solo shoot.  One of the props for the shoot was this beautiful "Dean Razorback *Dimebag Darrell" 7 String Guitar I picked up from Guitar Center.  The only way I can describe this beast is fu#!ng badass!!  Another one of my props was my 10" DW Tom Drum from my live kit.  I don't know what it is about this drum, it's just always been one of my favorites.

As soon as I arrived to the Valdes studio, I was kindly greeted by Gina, the sweet "studio dog".. ;)
There's nothing I love more than entering a new place and being welcomed by an awesome animal!!
After trying on a few different outfits, (and sweating my balls off from the studio lights)  I went on to the "tight ass white pants" which I have NEVER done before..  I could hardly get them all the way on to close the buttons but it actually worked out pretty well for the photo's!  

Overall the shoot went pretty well being that I was on 3hrs of sleep ...if that, and coming down with a cold (thanks to my good friend Andrew :) who paid me a surprise visit in Miami for a week whom I took to the airport a few hrs before the shoot.  No fainting = a plus and being offered Alligator meat by Valdes = ?? :O lol!  I deff recommend Valdes for professional photography and im looking forward to the next shoot.  Check out a few of the shot's below and more on my Facebook Profile as they arrive.  \m/ Enjoyyy!

Losing my BEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD - OMI *RIP* - YOU ARE WHAT KEEPS ME GOING <3 & Brandon/NYC last year made me realize a lot about life and how SHORT our time here really is.  You need to make the ABSOLUTE BEST of every second you have and never take anything for granted..
